Project Results

Project Summary

Over 1,000 People (and growing) signed the Power Pledge a declaration of energy independence and stewardship platform from which to enlist in the Clean Energy Revolution.
Climate & Energy Stewardship Workshops were presented and held at more than a dozen high schools, colleges and civic groups in New Mexico.
We generated widespread awareness in the form of news articles and creative educational outreach and we helped spring concentrated activism in the form of enlisting student volunteers and citizen allies in this new energy ~ responsibility movement.
We raffled off the new Prius and classic bike as incentives to project involvement.
We formed positive partnerships with businesses including Beaver Toyota, New Belgium Beer company, Yakima, Community Bank of Santa Fe and the Tesuque Village Market.
We raised enough money from the Clean Energy Raffle and Year-end Fund Rager to support the implementation of the 2009 Project, hire new paid student interns and provide on-going CCLI action (in the form of new education and stewardship initiatives and Direct Action ~ Innovation ~ Justice Seed Grants).
