The Climate Change Leadership Institute (CCLI) is a non profit organization dedicated to phasing out greenhouse gas emissions & empowering community thru the ethics of conservation, the adoption of clean energy and regenerative agriculture as well as the act of taking responsibility as a civil society.

To these ends, we offer direct action projects & seed grants as well as other encouraging steps for solving the climate crisis together.

About the Founder

Robb Hirsch
Executive Director and Founder of the Climate Change Leadership Institute (CCLI)

Robb Young Hirsch is the founder and executive director of the Climate Change Leadership Institute (CCLI) based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His professional focus has been on renewable energy and regenerative agriculture, two community uplifting ways to help address the climate crisis.

He is a graduate of Harvard University and a Fulbright Scholar with a masters degree in sustainability and geography from the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. He worked at the US State Department’s Oceans, Environment & Science Bureau and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration before completing a 6,000 mile bike ride around the nation calling for climate leadership.

He more recently walked extensively in four directions dedicating attention on four integral pillars for solving the climate emergency which he subsequently wrote a book about called Walking Four Directions – A Journey for Regeneration in the Land of Enchantment.

Robb loves being with his family including their dogs, he enjoys spending quality time in the great outdoors, as well as connecting with friends and other such caring people. He is very grateful for the opportunity to help bring new energy and ideas to helping solve the critical climate challenge, and he believes we all must work together and give our all to overcome it.
